European Equity Strategy

Payden & Rygel's European equity strategies are an excellent means to diversify a portfolio with exposure to a wide array of market sectors in Europe and Euroland.

Strategists apply both a top-down and bottom-up process to its security selection in Europe and Euroland (i.e. countries that use the euro, such as: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal and Spain).

The European equity strategy maintains low turnovers and employs a broad range of investment styles including small-cap and mid-cap growth, total market capitalization and quantitative portfolio management.

The large-cap European equity strategies target a universe of 500-700 of the best-capitalized companies, whereas growth strategies seek equities of issuers, which the strategists believe to hold above average earnings and revenue potential.
